Dear Client,
we're pleased to announce the new FileInMail 2.6 release.
What's new:
|
Previous 2.5 version
|
- Added support for Windows 11
- Enhanced support for Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019 and Windows Server 2022
- Now the files to be emailed can even be kept in their original locations rather than archived into a separate directory.
By enabling this option, FileInMail will create an additional file.FileInMail in the original folder to avoid resending the same file again
- Some other minor improvements
Important: we have a new code signing certificate that may cause a Microsoft Defender SmartScreen warning after the download until the new certificate gains sufficient reputation.
If so, please choose Run anyway: the file doesn't contain any malware as you can see in this VirusTotal check.
The upgrade is free
for all the Customers who are actually using the 2.x version,
by using the same license codes. You just need to download and
install
the new FileInMail setup program (or leave the AutoUpdate program doing it automatically) without uninstalling the current version first.
If don't own the license
codes yet, you can use the same setup program to freely test the new
version for 30 days, even if a previous FileInMail version was already
expired on your computer.
For any
question, comment or suggestion, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Kind regards,
Davide Guolo
